ABOUT ME

Biography

Caroline Crown is a Sophomore in the University of Maryland College Park Art Scholars program. She is from Germantown, MD. This year, Caroline is a Peer Mentor and the Co-President of the Arts Advisory Board. Her interests include makeup artistry, drawing, digital art, photography, graphic design, and art history. She is currently a Community and Behavioral Health major under the School of Public Health. By being in the Arts Scholars program, she wants to reconnect with her artistic side. Caroline recognizes the importance of art in everyone's lives, and wants to connect with other artists while at the University of Maryland.

While in the Arts Scholars program, Caroline wants to be exposed to new types of art and apply it to her own life and her communities at UMD. She wants to work within the community here, meet artists, and make new friends. Caroline believes service is important as well, and wants to give back to the community, alongside the core values she holds as a Community Health major.
